Sector spotlight: Advanced technology products see little change
Due to a lapse in government funding, foreign trade statistics provided by the U.S. Department of Commerce will be unavailable until further notice. The USCC will resume monthly analysis of federal trade data as it becomes available.
This bulletin was originally put out on August 8. A revised version was uploaded on August 26, in order to correct for a minor statistical error. The original bulletin asserted that China’s industrial output of heavy industry failed to keep pace with total industrial output through June 2013. In fact, heavy industry grew slightly faster than total industrial output
