Through his work in super PACs, campaigns, and in government, he has played a key role in shaping Republican campaign strategies, amplifying conservative messaging, and advancing the MAGA movement's impact on national elections and policy. Commissioner Budowich was appointed by Speaker Mike Johnson for a term expiring December 31, 2027.
Josh Hodges is a seasoned national security and foreign policy expert with nearly two decades of experience across the White House, Congress, the executive branch, international development, and business. Previously he was National Security Advisor to Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA). Hodges also served as Special Assistant to President Trump and Senior Director at the National Security Council. In addition, he has held senior roles at Ridgeline Advocacy Group, Stanford University's Hoover Institution, Anthropic's National Security and Public Sector Advisory Council, the Inter-American Development Bank, National Nuclear Security Administration, both the House and Senate Judiciary Committees, and served as Military Legislative Assistant for Sen.
