Policy Analyst, Economics and Trade

Taylore Roth is a Policy Analyst on the Economics and Trade team at the Commission, where her portfolio includes China’s domestic economy, climate and energy, and Chinese economic engagement in emerging markets. Prior to joining the Commission staff in 2020, she worked as a research analyst at the U.S. Trade and Development Agency on the Indo-Pacific and East Asia portfolios supporting infrastructure development in the telecommunications, agribusiness, and energy sectors. Taylore earned a Master of Arts degree from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies with concentrations in International Economics and China Studies, as well as a graduate certificate in Chinese studies from the Hopkins-Nanjing Center. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Temple University and is proficient in Mandarin Chinese.
