EXTRAMURAL RESEARCH AGREEMENTS AWARDED AND FINAL REPORTS RELEASED BY COMMISSION:
2009 Extramural Research Agreements Awarded by the Commission. The Commission has awarded contracts to four organizations to perform four separate research studies pertaining to issue areas identified in the Commission’s statutory mandate. The contracts were awarded after competitive evaluation by the Commission’s research committee of proposals that responded to the Requests for Proposals issued by the Commission and published on the Commission’s Web site. They were awarded upon approval by the full Commission. Contracts are now active for all four of these projects as follows:
• Defense Group, Inc.: A Report Examining Reforms in the Defense Industry of the People’s Republic of China. Notice of Completed and Released Research Studies by the Commission Awarded in 2008 The Commission has accepted as complete, and approved for public release, four new research reports that pertain to issue areas in the Commission’s statutory mandate. These research reports were performed by external contractors on the Commission’s behalf, on the basis of contracts awarded in 2008 following competitive evaluation by the Commission.
