CONGRESSMAN ROSCOE G. BARTLETT (R-MD)

Now serving his ninth term in the United States House of Representatives, Roscoe G. Bartlett considers himself a citizen-legislator, not a politician. Prior to his election to Congress, he pursued successful careers as a professor, research scientist and inventor, small business owner, and farmer. He was first elected in 1992 to represent Maryland's Sixth District.
In the 111th Congress, Bartlett serves as Ranking Member of the Air and Land Forces Subcommittee of the House Armed Services Committee. Due to his ten years of experience as a small business owner, he also serves on the Small Business Committee. One of three scientists in the Congress, Dr. Bartlett is also a senior member of the Science and Technology Committee.
