Patrick Woodall
Senior Policy Analyst, Food & Water Watch

Patrick Woodall is a senior policy analyst covering globalization of food and agriculture, international trade and agriculture policy for Food & Water Watch.  Food & Water Watch is a non-profit consumer organization that works on food policy and water infrastructure issues.

Mr. Woodall covers the farm policy and trade legislation on Capitol Hill and provides in depth analysis and research reports on international trade, food and agriculture imports, prices, and agricultural markets.  Woodall has been a public policy analyst, researcher and advocate on economic justice issues in Washington since 1991. He is the co–author of a Whose Trade Organization? A Field Guide to the World Trade Organization (New Press, 2004) and has written dozens of reports and articles on public policy including analysis of how international trade impacts farmers and agriculture, consumer safety oversight, the environment, and workers including When Bad Things Happen to Good Laws: How International Trade Pacts Threaten California’s Environmental Laws (Sierra Club, 2004), Adding Insult to Injury for Pennsylvania Workers (Public Citizen, 2002), Down on the Farm: NAFTA’s War on Farmers and Ranchers (Public Citizen, 2001), and The Coming NAFTA Crash (Public Citizen, 2001).   He received his B.A. from the Johns Hopkins University in 1990.
