Representative Donald A. Manzullo (R-IL)

Born in Rockford, IL in 1944 to Frank and Catherine Manzullo, Don Manzullo grew up instilled with the values of hard work, community and responsibility. His parents owned and operated a grocery store and eventually established the family restaurant - Manzullo's Italian Villa -- which is still run by his brother, Frank.

Encouraged and supported by his family, Don pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree at American University in Washington, D.C. To help pay his way through college, Don worked for the U.S. House of Representatives and spent time as a stringer for several northern Illinois newspapers.

Don wanted to further his education and went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee. Upon completion of his degree, Don returned to northern Illinois where he practiced law, representing people that had been adversely affected by various governmental agencies.
