George T. Haley, Ph.D. (University of Texas at Austin), is Professor/Coordinator of Marketing & International Business Programs at the University of New Haven. Besides working at UNH, he has served on the faculties of other top universities in the USA (Harvard University; Baruch College; City University of New York; Fordham University), Mexico (InstitutoTechnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey), Asia (National University of Singapore; Thamassat University - Bangkok), and Australia (Queensland University of Technology). Additionally, he has presented executive development seminars and been a public speaker for both corporate executives and government policy makers in the USA, Mexico, Singapore, Australia, Thailand, India, New Zealand and Vietnam.

George is an award-winning author, and has over 65 books, book chapters, articles and research reports. His book, New Asian Emperors: The Overseas Chinese, their Strategies and Competitive Advantages, was the internationally best selling book on Asian business strategy. His book Asia’s Tao of Business: The Logic of Chinese Business Strategy, is forthcoming from John Wiley & Sons, and is editing a special issue on Industrial Marketing in South Asia for the Journal of Business & Industrial Marketing. He consults with Asian, Latin American, and US companies on strategic and industrial marketing issues, and is on the editorial advisory and review boards of several US and European journals where he lends his expertise on Asia and other emerging markets.
