Mr. Eric Hagt, Director of the China Program, World Security Institute
Eric Hagt is the Director of the China Program at the World Security Institute. He was a visiting researcher at the Freeman Chair in China Studies at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. In addition, he has done policy research for the Fund for Peace and has held a research assistantship at the Ivo Pilar Institute in Zagreb, Croatia. Eric has studied and worked in Taiwan and Mainland China for eight years. During that time, he held a research fellowship at the Chinese Medicine University on the Canada-China Scholars Exchange Program (1993-1996). From 1996 to 2000 he was the chief representative of a consulting firm in Beijing.
