Steve Judge has been senior vice president of government affairs and head of the Securities Industry Association’s Washington, D.C., office since 1993.
Prior to joining SIA in 1991 as vice president of legislative affairs, Judge was a congressional staff member for more than 13 years. He has worked for the House Committee on Banking, Finance, and Urban Affairs as a professional staff member and as the committee’s deputy staff director. His experience also includes nine years as the legislative director for Rep. Bruce Vento (DFL, MN).
Judge began his work as a legislative assistant to the Committee of Education in the Minnesota State Senate.
He graduated in 1975 from St. John’s University, Collegeville, Minnesota, with a Bachelor of Science degree in government.
He and his wife Sharon and their two children, Taylor and Charlie, reside in Annandale, Virginia.
