Mr. Brian W. Suma

Mr. Suma has been the Army Program Manager for this effort since its adoption in 1999 by HQ AMC as the Army Knowledge Management center for DMSMS issues with-in Army. Prior to that he was the development lead and project manager for the TACOM DMSMS INFO effort. Other significant efforts he has participated in are: Weapon System Health Indicators (WSHI) system, Fielded Vehicles Performance Data System (FVPDS) and the TACOM Sample Data Collection (SDC) Program.
Mr. Suma is a recognized Army SME on DMSMS issues at both the Army and DOD DMSMS Program level. He is also the TACOM LCMC Government-Industry Data Exchange Program (GIDEP) representative and represents Army at the GIDEP Management level.
During Mr. Suma’s more than 20 years of government service he has been a Wheeled/Track mechanic, Equipment Specialist, Logistic Management Specialist, Operations Research Systems Analyst and General Engineer. He has an Associate degree in Industrial Supervision & Management, a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Technology, a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and is Acquisition Corp, Level III certified in Systems Engineering.
