Dr. Steven Tsang

B.A. (Hons.) University of Hong Kong, 1981; D.Phil. University of Oxford (St Antony's College), 1986.

 

Dr. Tsang is a senior research fellow in modern Chinese Studies, University Reader in Politics, and the Director of the Taiwan Studies Program, at St. Antony’s College, Oxford University.

He specializes in China’s relations with the outside world, particularly with Britain and the U.S. Tsang has also examined relations between China and Taiwan, in addition to global terrorism and intelligence. His interests extend to comparing political developments in China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

Dr. Tsang has authored 9 books, 15 book chapters, and over 39 journal articles. His current research includes:
