Jason Berman

Former Chairman and CEO, International Federation of the Phonographic Industries

Jay Berman has been involved in the music industry for over 30 years. He served as President of the Recording Industry Association of America from 1987 and as Chairman from 1992. Prior to that he represented all of the Warner labels on the board of the RIAA in Washington DC.

IFPI is the trade organization of the international recording industry, its members comprising more than 1,500 record producers and distributors worldwide. IFPI has affiliate national groups in over 46 countries.
