Jason E. Bruzdzinski is a specialist on defense policy, military strategy and intelligence matters with more than a decade of Washington experience. Currently a Senior Professional Staff Member at the MITRE Corporation, Bruzdzinski provides consultative and technical support to the U.S. Government on a variety of national security-related issues. Mr. Bruzdzinski was previously a Senior Consultant in the Government Services practice of Arthur Andersen where he led teams supporting a variety of Department of Defense and Intelligence Community clients. Mr. Bruzdzinski also served the U.S. Congress for nearly four years on the Professional Staff of the U.S. House of Representatives–Committee on Armed Services, and as a Research Analyst in the office of former U.S. Senator and Secretary of Defense, William S. Cohen. Mr. Bruzdzinski has conducted research on U.S. national security affairs at some of Washington’s most prominent public policy research organizations, including: The American Enterprise Institute, The Johns Hopkins Foreign Policy Institute, The Heritage Foundation and The Asia Pacific Policy Center. Concurrent with his civilian career, Mr. Bruzdzinski serves an officer in the U.S. Navy (Reserve). Assignments have included duty at the Office of Naval Intelligence, Naval Air Facility-Pensacola, Navy-Marine Corps Intelligence Training Center, Fleet Intelligence Training Center Pacific, Office of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the U.S. Naval War College, and three assignments at the Defense Attaché Office of the U.S. Embassy (Beijing, PRC). Mr. Bruzdzinski conducted U.S.-PRC military-to-military relations research as a Visiting Fellow at the U.S. National Defense University from 1998–2001. He holds an M.A in National Security Studies from Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service and an A.B. in Government from St. Lawrence University in upstate New York.
