Ms. Friedman has been Executive Director of the SEAMS Association since January, 1999. Prior to coming to SEAMS, she was VP of Operations at Aiken Industries, Aiken, SC; Plant Manager of Town & Country Mfg., Lugoff, SC; and Plant Manager of Hartsville Mfg., Hartsville, SC. She holds an Associate Degree in Business from Florence-Darlington Tech, Darlington, SC.

Before joining the SEAMS staff, Ms. Friedman served on its Board of Directors beginning in 1988. She served as Secretary/Treasurer, Vice President, and as President in 1994-1995. Ms. Friedman was selected as the Association's Person of the Year in 1991 and again in 2003, in recognition of her tireless dedication to the betterment of the sewn products industry.
